Washington, D.C. – Hybrid, 3 days/week | Full-Time
Our client, a prominent public affairs and digital strategy agency, is seeking a Sr. Digital Strategist to manage paid media campaigns for Fortune 100 corporate and advocacy clients. The firm has seen ~60% revenue growth over the past year and continues to create a buzz with new service offerings and targeting capabilities. This role offers high visibility and ownership, shaping digital ad campaigns and conversations around today’s most pressing issues and policies.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Manage digital ad campaigns for high-profile clients across healthcare, financial services, housing, defense, telecom, and other sectors
- Run day-to-day operations of digital, social, search and programmatic campaigns, including community management, creative execution, and social advertising
- Customize digital and social media strategies to align with client business goals; Advise clients on emerging digital strategies and future campaigns
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including traditional comms, paid media specialists, social listening analysts
Desired Skills And Experience
- 3+ years of communications, digital, or political experience, ideally in an ad agency, communications or digital marketing firm
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Familiarity with the professional use of digital media channels, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Pinterest, WordPress, SEO, etc.
- Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS, as well as CMS platforms such as Drupal and WordPress
- Working knowledge of social analytics tools (e.g., Brandwatch, Sprout Social, Crimson Hexagon, Radian6, Sysomos)
- Problem-solving and creativity skills in the context of online tools and media
- Familiarity with online advertising tools, including Facebook Ads, Twitter Ads, Google AdWords, Programmatic Ads
- Familiarity with digital advocacy tools such as Every Action, Nationbuilder, Phone2Action, or Action Network
- Working knowledge of email tools such as Iterable, MailChimp, Every Action, Constant Contact, Salesforce Marketing Cloud
- Excellent leadership, organizational, time management, multi-tasking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience managing the creative process for paid advertising, social media, video production, email marketing, or email fundraising
- Experience managing junior staff and training them on digital tools and creative writing
Benefits
The salary range for this role is $67,000 – $79,000, in addition to an annual discretionary bonus. We offer a comprehensive and generous benefits package including health insurance, paid time off, paid holidays off, paid family leave, sick leave, 401K match, etc.
